help: dip stick
No, not a head gasket. Just had this done on my car. It is the intake manifold gasket. If you have ever had your superchager off you should have noticed the gasket is a metal plate with like a rubber o ring around the inside opening of the gasket. GM did not have those little rubber seals on the original intake manifold gasket but there is one out now and that will fix your problem
same thing happend to me which is retarded because it is an updated part and there is a tsb on it it is a defective design. stock cobalts are popping there dipsticks out.
here is the bulliten

Subject: Oil Leak From Top Of Dipstick - Replace Intake Manifold Gasket - keywords accel acceleration CEL crank crankcase dip engine excessive hard high MIL P0171 pressure repeat SES stick WOT #PIP3983 - (11/16/2006)
Models: 2005-2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS
2004-2006 Saturn Ion Redline
with 2.0L Engine (VIN P - RPO LSJ)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
On rare occasions, the engine oil dipstick may become unseated on hard acceleration, resulting in an engine oil leak. If the engine is operated long enough like this, a P0171 DTC could set due to the engine ingesting unmetered air.
This concern is the result of excessive crankcase pressure on hard acceleration. This crankcase pressure may be the result of an intake manifold gasket concern that allows supercharger boost pressure to bypass the intake manifold gasket where it seals around the PCV orifice, which is between the #2 and #3 intake runners.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If the SI diagnostics do not isolate a cause for this concern, replace the intake manifold gasket using part number 12597855, which contains an updated sealing surface around the PCV orifice. This part number, or any future part number, is designed to address this concern.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.

I have never had any problems with my stage 3 pulley. It looks like you do not have the GM stage 2 kit from what I can see in your sig unless you did not list it. If you put the stage 3 pulley on your car with a stock tune and injectors, that is bad. Really really bad. Next time you take your car for warranty work, put the stage 2 pulley back on the car. I have had to do that several times and never had an issue.
just got back from the dealer ,they are going to repair it under warrenty because they have a new manger that agrees that if its a gm part and that they installed itit will be covered so i'm taking the car in tommarow morning to get fixed.I'm so glad and reliefed that they are taking care of it
well i had my dipstick popping out... they replaced the intake manifold gasket, supercharger gasket and throttle body gasket.
drove it home, and the dipstick popped out again.
they did run a compression test and everything passed.... any ideas?

I' ve got my car going in tomorrow for this with a CPP 2.9 pulley on it so we will see what happens. It has been doing since I bought it and I had the dealer put the GM stage 2 in the day I bought it.
oil dipstick popping out
I have a stage 5 From intense, stage 4 clutch, and performance exaust, GM just put a brand new engine and supercharger in the car, because i had a blown piston ring. before they change the engine my oil dipstick was popping out, and that is how they found out about the bad piston. I got my car back and the oil dip stick is still poping out. does anybody have any advise about this? I'm pushing 20lb boost.
Lol, why would you run the same Intense tune on a brand new (second) motor when it blew your first one.
Wouldn't you think by putting the same parts back on, that it might just break again?
You probably nuked the piston again, Intense tunes are known to be on the lean side.
