Recaros are moving on driver side
Recaros are moving on driver side
Ok so i took my ss in for an oil change. I have the recaro seats and have never had a problem with them but when I got it back I noticed that the seat (bottom part) felt loose when I sat down or if I bounced in it. Sort of feels like some bolts are loose. I moved it around up/down and back and fourth and it still kept feeling loose. The seat was moved a bit after the oil change...Just wondering if anyone knows much about the seats, or maybe has taken them out and seen the bolts on the bottom. I tried looking but it's way to dark and it is wet as nuts on the ground.
I sat in my passenger side and it doesn't move a bit. My driver side hasn't either, until now.
Anyone?
no one has knowledge that they want to share with me?

Well, I guess I've always had the height of my seat all the way up...when it is in this position it doesn't move at all when you sit down or bounce in the seat. If I put it lower it by the lever, it will start moving a bit like it was.
Can someone try moving the height around and tell me if it makes a "loose" sound when sitting down or if you bounce in the seat. Then try moving it all the way up and tell me if it makes a noise or not when sitting/bouncing.
Thanks in advance.

the recaros have two bolts at the rear, the front slide into a 'hole'. Double check to make sure they are tight. You can move the seat side to side a little bit if they are off-center too.
