Man your gonna get alot of different opinions on that question. Its all about how fast you wanna go. No pullies better than the other, its all personal preference. But just remember the small you go the more $ your gonna be puttin in on supporting mods.

Are you talking size or quality?

IMO - A pulley is a pulley...... Just go over to CA and buy one.

As far as brands go, I really like the ZZP pullies over Intense.
Size? like they all said... depends on how fast you want to go, or how dependable you want your car to be.

a 2.6 is just as dependable as a gm stage 2

with the right supporting mods on the 2.6

I am running the GM stage 3 pulley with my stage 2. It gives it a little extra kick while still playing it safe.

Wideband so you dont blow something up.....

New heat exchanger, and dual pass endplate for stocker. Possibly even an extra resevoir.

Oh yea.. and a new headgasket and studs standing by lol

If you running that plus intake and exhaust without a new tune, i dont believe your playing it safe... your probably already running lean...

install is not hard and i would reccomend looking at ZZP's website cause they got good **** there!!! check out there modular pulley system and then i would reccomend getting the 2.6 pulley and 60# injectors then getting it tuned by someone locally or getting hptuners

ehhh...just an opinion, but I would trust the stg 3 pulley on the stg 2 tune...it's very little of a difference.

Is there even a seperate tune for the GM stage 3? I'm pretty sure it doesn't have another tune (other than stg1/2 tune), so it shouldn't matter much.

It's a hunk of metal, they are all about the same. Maybe some preference in the designs and finishes.

I have a SFPH anti slip 2.8 and hub and it works great.

haha its not that bad , wideband , oversized tensioner pulley , stage 2 belt , heat exchanger OR dual pass intercooler mod , 2.6 pulley , GOOD tune , new spark plugs , header downpipe and exhaust , one or two heavy duty traction mods , with all the **** i just listed you can get it for about 2200 to 2500 and thats WITH buying HP tuners Pro

Also, my pulleys are polished to a mirror-like finish for only an extra 5.00!
