Hey everyone, I was just wondering what would be my next and not too expensive performance mod for my car. I have a muffler and injen CAI. I am getting rims soon and I just had my car lowered with sportlines. My g/f is so mad im spending so much money on my car. I was looking for a mod in the price range of 200-300 that could boost my hp a little. Any suggestions, thanks.

 

try the XTC (cobalt addiction) downpipe. Most people seem to like the results.

So those headers would work fine with my car, there would be nothing special I would have to do in order to make them work other than the installation?

 

nope.. unbolt the old one and bolt on the new one. you could get it tuned later but it's not necessary

I want to mod it enough to set it apart from a stock car you know. Im not trying to make it the fastest cobalt by no means. Im looking for a mid-range of modifications and performance.

What you really need to do is get rid of that P.O.S. "carbon fiber" muffler (fart can) and get a catback. Something that will get you REAL performance not just sound.

get C/A header and downpipe. the header puts down 10whp on a 2.4. a down pipe will give u about at most 10. our stock exhaust is restrictive.
