check out the G6 now that is a f'in cool looking car

and it shows the solstice as have a 2,0L TURBO

 

gxp G6 looks to be just the g6gtp with a hood and grill same hp

 

yeah its old news...the solstice GXP i believe is the first car skated to un the LNF Ecotec...the second turbosharged ecotec to date (stock of course)

 

have to say that i like the front end and back end..but the wing looks a little weird..maybe some more pics..but i'm feelin it

that solstice has been out for like 6 months

 

I watched some of my buddies destroy a Solstice GXP yesterday....lol. We met at a random parking lot to meet up (my car and 4 EVO's, 2 of which are heavily modified) and when we were pulling out a GXP solstice just happened to get into the middle of the group. We pulled out and everybody was driving normal, and out of nowhere the GXP decided in his mind he was faster then everyone and floored it....lol, wow, did he get put in his place real quick

 

So, the GXP Solstice wasn't that impressive? My wife is wanting one of those. We are thinking about trading off my Yellow 05 LS for it.

Any comments?

 

I wish they made the G6 GXP engines somewhat special compared to the new GTP's. Rather then just giving them a body kit and hood scoop.

 

I personally like the sky redline more for its looks over the solstice GXP. I wasn't trying to turn anyone against the car, it is nice, but from my previous post when u try to race a heavily modified EVOIX MR SE that is close to 400hp in ur stock Solstice GXP, u are going to get stomped....

 

Ah. Coo. I cant get the GMS discounts on Saturns since my dealership doesn't sell them . I drove to Memphis to test drive one and they wouldn't let me. They said since they are limited that no one is allowed to demo one. Bummer. Drove 1 1/2 hours to drive one and wasted a day.

 

i like the sky redline more too, or any sky roadster. it's got a mini-corvette look to it, plus i like the direction that saturn is going.

i heard somewhere too that the GXP G6 was just basically a body kit, rims, interior stuff, and maybe some suspension bits. too bad the G6 is so damn expensive to begin with.

 

yeah, i've been to that site before, soundtrack of one of my favorite bands...Kasabian.

I dont like the wheels and wing on the g6.

 

random thought....i wonder why no ones done a LNF engine swap? sounds like a great idea to me..or is it a lot more expensive thanthe other ecotecs?

 

i don't think that the LNF crate engine is out yet. you could buy a sky redline or solstice gxp and swap out its engine for yours, though!
