Go with black, it looks great. I have a pic in my garage on here, or if you want to see a better one I can upload a couple more that I took.

Go with the black, especially since your car is black. It'll look great!

I'd say it depends on the cars color and the rest of the trim. Like mine for example wouldn't look good with black projectors cause its that dark red with chrome wheels.

Call me old school, but I love the look of the chrome ones. They have a modified look with the projectors yet look stock with the chrome. I love the look of my chrome projectors on my orange cobalt. It is your personal choice though.

I think they make the car look much more sporty than stock. Light output wasn't too bad either, definitly better than stock. Working on Putting HIDs in mine now

How Do You Get Hids, On Halo Projectors?

Just bought and installed new projector halos(black) does any one have the hids on them? How did you get them on there and what size was used? I heard that the stock bulbs in the projectors may melt the housing so help a.s.a.p would be great
Thanks

The projectors come with H1 bulbs (low beams). There are many different HID kits out there; which all connect slightly different. Your bulbs should not melt the housing, if the housing starts to melt it is because the bulbs are installed improperly and sitting too close to the housing. you might want to view the following two threads for more information

HID kits will all be same no matter what the color temperature. It is recommended to install the kits with a relay harness (some kits will come with them), however I have heard it is not required. Installation of the relay kit was pretty easy, connect one wire to battery terminal, one wire to solid ground. spice into factory wireing harness to low beam bulbs (positive and negative) [this acts as the switch to tell your lights to turn on] Connect your bulbs to your balasts, balast to relay wires (all plug and play connections) and you are all set to go. The biggest P.I.T.A. is drilling a notch for the return lead (return lead should face down) and aiming the damn things. Aiming process is the same for HID and H1 bulbs.

As for color temp, I absolutely love the 8000K I put in mine. they very bright with the slightest hint of blue. If you want really blue looking lights go with the 10k, if you want pure white light (brightest possible output) go with the 6000K. For more information do a google search on HID color spectrum or HID color temperature

Go with black. Chrome never looks good on a black car, to me at least.

4100k is the purest white and the brightest.
