I'm sitting factory height and I scrape the front lip every so often. I have to go sideways in and out of parking lots around here 'cause all of them are like a 6" drop to the street.
I've even managed to scrape the exhaust tip once. Now I know of guys that are in town and are lowered... and they have to crawl around worse than I do... but they don't complain about it.

To me... lowering looks nice... but isn't worth the pain or having to deal with it for a daily driver. Take a good look at the roads you travel regularly... the parking lots you are in and out of... then see if lowering would be good for you or not.

I have Eibach Sportlines. They're good springs. I don't hit anything. It's all about approaching inclines on an angle.

Pics are in my garage. There are some ***** in there too. Muhaha.

I hit the front airdamn sometimes with my coilovers. And do not have any tire wear. I also did not use a camber kit.

I scrap with stock springs are they a lot softer than the sportlines?
I also broke my air dam from scraping well thats what they said at the dealership so they wont replace under warrenty but i figured it has to come off when i put my sportlines on so i said no ill keep my $300 thank you.

Do most of you guys take off your lower air dam with the sportlines or any other springs for that matter?

i scrape in my driveway, and in daily driving sometimes. i think it depends on where you live, and how you drive.
my suspension is stock

Just do what I did, drill four equally spaced holes and run zip ties from it to the frame and heat exchanger lines. It folds it back so it still protects, but you cant see it any more and it wont scrape as often. I got tired of walking out to the parking lot and seeing that thing sticking out every day.

that little black piece is important for cooling....I'd advise not removing it.

I scrape going into my drive way, I think I only hit the black air deflector, but I have marks on my front bumper where I have scarped worse somewhere. Sucks and my suspension is stock, I want to lower it but I would not make it in my driveway. I want air ride but won't be able to afford it for a while. The camaro may be back by then so I'll leave my cobalt as the daily driver and mod the hell out of the new Camaro.
