0redline6 03-22-2007, 04:35 AM what do the lights on the handles look like.. is it a bar? an where does it stick to?

thats pretty bitchin. id like it even more if it had my speed instead.
jasonaudio 03-22-2007, 01:36 PM Sorry... this GP is only for the 2 products mentioned in the 1st post, as that's what we have arriving in our next shipment in a few days.
The LED door handle kits have 4 little strips of LEDS with a 2 sided tape on them. You wire them up through the inside of the door handle opening, and then stick them up on the underside of the handle. If you have a 2 door, then you use both sets on the door handles, and can use the other 2 LED strips in another location.

Yeah, are these hard to install? Everything comes with it....nothing else to buy?
jasonaudio 03-23-2007, 12:00 AM Installation isn't anything difficult, just takes some time to run the wires & tuck everything away to keep it clean. You don't need anything else to use the underbody kit.
If you wanted the multi color door handle kit, YOU DO NEED the underbody kit 1st.
More PMs sent.

I Am Car Guy 03-23-2007, 12:48 PM Hey, im interested. Can you pm me the details about the lifetime warranty? Tell me what in all it covers. (example what kind of breakage outter or inner, bulb burn outs etc) Where do I pay? when i go to plasmaglow.com it says the price is 400. Thanks in advance.
TCarter 03-23-2007, 12:56 PM FYI, These bulbs...wont burn out.
jasonaudio 03-23-2007, 01:55 PM I Am A Car Guy - PM Sent.
Yes, these are LEDs, and it won't technically burn out, but it could be shorted out or a connection could go bad. Same with anything electrical.
The warranty covers that sort of thing.
Warranties on underbody kits/neons do not cover tube breakage. These tubes have NO GLASS, which is what typically breaks on a neon kit. The tube is a hard lexan plastic.
TCarter 03-23-2007, 03:19 PM Ya, LED's can burn out, but its something insane like 100,000 hours or something.....and nobody I know leaves there neons on 24/7.
jasonaudio 03-23-2007, 05:51 PM Specific warranty information can be found here - http://www.plasmaglow.com/warranty.php
forced4 03-23-2007, 08:14 PM payment sent
TCarter 03-24-2007, 02:53 PM i was wondering, do the kits come with a wireless remote?
jasonaudio 03-25-2007, 07:18 PM No... the kit does not have the wireless remote. That is additional if wanted/needed.
marerick007 03-25-2007, 07:52 PM No... the kit does not have the wireless remote. That is additional if wanted/needed.
How much extra is the wireless remote?
TCarter 03-25-2007, 08:43 PM How much extra is the wireless remote?
^^ What he said.
jasonaudio 03-25-2007, 10:41 PM Price is $62.50 to add the wireless setup... shown on this page - http://www.plasmaglow.com/accessories.php
Please let me know if you plan to add this.
jasonaudio 03-29-2007, 07:05 PM 11 kits in stock still.... Anyone else interested.
FlintIonQC 03-29-2007, 08:28 PM Can you put a picture up of what they look like outside the box?
Oh, and I want to tag a set for me, just want to see the kit first. Pictures on website don't show the kit, just the lights. As soon as a picture is up, I'll gladly pay for one.
jasonaudio 03-29-2007, 08:46 PM Just took everything out of the box real quick... here's the parts
http://www.aplusperformance.com/images/plasmaglow%2010990%20kit.jpg

jasonaudio 03-29-2007, 09:25 PM Your kit will ship immediately tomorrow, and you should have it around Monday.
marerick007 03-29-2007, 10:14 PM My wife wants one as well, but she can't pay till monday...damn Bank of America holding her check for over a week....she also wants the wireless remote as well.
pimpnwink 03-29-2007, 10:20 PM I just have like one more question how are these things mounted. Because i did not see any hardware in the pic and i wouldnt like losing this in one of the pothole in the city.

grigs 03-29-2007, 10:23 PM zip ties work wonders
pimpnwink 03-29-2007, 10:42 PM so jsut zip ties and screws?
jasonaudio 03-30-2007, 02:41 AM There is mounting hardware in with the kit... in the picture of everything laying out, it's in one of the bags.

Survivor058 04-02-2007, 01:41 PM haha mine is ordered, im glad i licked it to reserve it lmao
FlintIonQC 04-02-2007, 10:21 PM Hey Jason,
I just got my kit today.:thumb: I opened it up and was making sure I got everything it says I should have. I found the Dash LCD screen, but no remote. So I have a few of questions  : What does the LCD screen do? Second: The toggle switch and lots of wires are for what? Third: How do I control the speed and pattern with no remote? This is obviously my first endeavor :red: with this sort of thing, so could you help me out? The installation appears easy enough, with the exception of the extra wires/toggle switch not mentioned anywhere, and the lack of the remote to control them. Thanks in advance!!
jasonaudio 04-03-2007, 01:57 AM Chad/Flint - You ordered the underbody kit and that's it. Everything in the box is what comes with that kit. The LCD screen is the control system I believe. That should allow you to change the different functions of the kit.
There is a wireless remote that's available, but that's additional and separate from the kit. The wireless remote is not needed, but does give you some extra (distance) control.
FlintIonQC 04-03-2007, 06:47 AM So that LCD panel is a touch screen? If so, what is with the toggle switch and all the wires attached? Sorry, the instructions just said there was supposed to be a wired remote in there, but mine is missing. Anyone else?
Update: I noticed on the PlasmGlow website it says that the LCD is the display AND touch screen controller. When someone gets it hooked up, will ya let us know how it works? Also, I think the toggle is for interior lights attached maybe?
forced4 04-03-2007, 07:31 AM Mine is installed. The lcd is a touch screen. The extra switch is just so you can have a kill switch on it, that way if you bump the lcd your lights don't go flashing like crazy without you being aware that they are on (at least that is my guess). My lcd screen seems over sensitive, which leads to my question:
Does the wireless remote replace the touch screen entirely? I want to get rid of it so I don't get pulled over because my lights started flashing blue/red etc. Even with it isolated from bumping anything the buttons seem to push themselves. I would rather not turn it in for any type of warranty, the wireless would be much nicer.
Other than that, the colors they put off are great! I really like the slow color change mode.
Jumpin Fool 04-03-2007, 08:06 AM So that LCD panel is a touch screen? If so, what is with the toggle switch and all the wires attached? Sorry, the instructions just said there was supposed to be a wired remote in there, but mine is missing. Anyone else?

A "wired" remote(connected to the system with wires) would be the LCD Touchscreen.
FlintIonQC 04-03-2007, 12:56 PM Hey Forced, you need to post up some pics or a video!! Where would you wire in the toggle switch?
Survivor058 04-03-2007, 01:23 PM the toggle switch can be mounted anywhere the best place for it in someplace where u can easially flip it just in case u get pulled ofer and u can be like oops!! sorry officer lol, the trim panel is a good place to put it if u definetely know what ur doing but id only recommend that for a professional to cut or u can put it someplace in your center console inbetween the seats
jasonaudio 04-03-2007, 03:39 PM By using the wireless upgrade, I believe the touch screen is still there and needs to be connected. Any questions, you may want to check directly with PlasmaGlow.
FlintIonQC 04-03-2007, 05:32 PM I meant wear in the undercar kit harness should you mount it so it does its job of killing it or turning it on.
lucky_lellow06 04-07-2007, 09:24 PM Is this offer still going on? Sorry if it has already been answered somewhere else...
PaPiiShAmPuU 04-07-2007, 09:59 PM wonder if this offer is still going on as well...if so save me one, interested in buyin it...
jasonaudio 04-09-2007, 04:15 PM PMs Sent...
To answer the question above... I can't explain where exactly the toggle switch should be wired, but I'm almost positive that is explained on the installation sheet. Questions still, post em up...
FlintIonQC 04-09-2007, 04:31 PM Can someone post some pics or movie of these running on their car?

FlintIonQC 04-16-2007, 09:44 PM Man, when is someone going to hook this up and post some video, or atleast some pics?!?!?!?!
jasonaudio 04-18-2007, 01:09 AM Just 1 Kit Left At This Price!!!
Survivor058 04-18-2007, 01:39 AM ok so i got my kit installed ok and everything is cool, but i dont like the lcd display, now supposedly this lcd is supposed to be all grand and tell u exactly what its doing and what color it is, umm mine dosent do tht so am i missing something here, i have to open my door and look down to see the color and when its in color fading mode it dosent specify that its doin that, so at night what do u have to hold a light up to it to know what its doing? the last kit i had had colored lights to show u what color ur kit was on and it showed you what the lights were doing all on the controll box it wasnt lcd but i like that controll box a lot better than the plasma glow, but mabe im wrong am i missing a part or is the lcd supposed to light up or something ??? whats up!!
lucky_lellow06 04-18-2007, 01:47 AM Just got mine today! Thanks jasonaudio! :twothumbs:
Took a few pics of it in the box and all, thought about taking a movie with it being tested in the car. It cycles through red, blue, green, yellow, teal, purple/pink, and white. There are a ton of different modes that it has as well. Let me know if someone wants a movie or something. I'll see what I can do.
Survivor058 04-18-2007, 06:07 AM does ur lcd screen show u what color its doing? cause mine dosent and the kit says it shows you exactly what your lights are doing
Jasper33 04-18-2007, 06:40 AM Hope that last one isnt gone...im interested
Survivor058 04-18-2007, 06:45 AM dont worry if it is i might possibly sell the one that i have its only been on the car since sunday but since we had bad weather up here i havnt driven it yet since it was installed but it looks good out today so i might drive it more but ill let u all know if im gonna sell mine like i said unless im doing something wrong or missing a piece or whatever i cant see on my lcd what color im using
FlintIonQC 04-18-2007, 06:49 AM I want a movie!!!!
ss zero 04-18-2007, 02:33 PM u still got that one left? im interested!
jasonaudio 04-18-2007, 04:11 PM Survivor - I myself have not used this kit since PlasmaGlow made some changes... I'm not 100% sure what the LCD is supposed to show. You may want to call PlasmaGlow tech and see what they say regarding that. # is on their site - www.plasmaglow.com
A few more PMs sent. This last kit is still available, and I know there are atleast 3-4 guys saying they want it. 1st come 1st served. If extra kits are ordered after this last one sells out, I'll check with PlasmaGlow to see if we can get some more at the discounted price.
lucky_lellow06 04-19-2007, 12:25 AM does ur lcd screen show u what color its doing? cause mine dosent and the kit says it shows you exactly what your lights are doing
It doesn't show what color it's on. But if it's in one of the modes, it shows you (kind of) on the top of the lcd screen. Where the two arrows pointing left, a circle in the middle, and two arrows pointing right, they move according to how your lights are moving. That's all I noticed the whole 5 minutes I had it plugged into the car to see how it worked. As for a movie, give me a few days, I work 2 jobs, and it's kinda hard to have any down-time before I have to go to bed and get up early to start over again.
jasonaudio 04-23-2007, 02:06 AM THIS GROUP BUY HAS BEEN EXTENDED!!!
We have more kits on the way in our next shipment... and we're sticking with this pricing for another couple weeks or so, dependent upon when we run out of stock.
Survivor058 04-23-2007, 06:08 AM dam u know what this guy and his company have offered more shit than just about anyone in the past few weeks, if i didnt buy my flipout tv the other day id buy something else from u, ur doin big things here lol well anyway just bump it up,

jasonaudio 04-24-2007, 05:10 PM PM sent.
william leech 04-29-2007, 10:57 PM how do you adjust modes on the lcd? lookn to go solid color.
Cobalt_SSTuner 04-30-2007, 11:48 AM when you guys get these installed, you better post some pics
lucky_lellow06 05-07-2007, 11:41 PM I want a movie!!!!
I've got a few movies, but since it was at night, it's a really horrible quality. My voice sounds like a 12 year old boy going through puberty. And it's pixelated like no other.
how do you adjust modes on the lcd? lookn to go solid color.
You just keep hitting the "Mode" button until it comes to a steady color, then just hit the "Color" button until you get the color you want.
fbaero10 05-07-2007, 11:44 PM very nice, ill hafta look into it more,
