I have seen a kind of darker red on cobalts. Its a new color to 07, and IMO very nice. I am not typically a red car fan, but I dig that color!

IIRC it is Red Jewel Tint Coat. Like a $595 or $695 premium. Its actually 3 layers of paint, either a white or silver base, then a trasparent color coat, then the clear. Makes it light up in the sun. Used for the yellow and burgandy on the corvettes, now availible on all cars for a premium price, as of 2007. Really nice looking to me. There was a member on here a while back that got an SS/SC in that color, had pics of it coming off the truck.

Its a $295 option . The base color is Silver . Sweet color when its clean and the sun is shining , its eye popping .
