Question aftermarket exhaust system

im considering putting on an aftermarket cat back system but im not sure which one. ive been looking at the borla and the magnaflow so i was wondering if anyone has put either of these exhaust systems on and had any problems or disappointments with them?

The GMPP cat-back I just bought is made by Borla. It sounds great!

Go with the GMPP cat-back, great sound and low price, simple to install. I like mine, but gotta change it out for something bigger soon.

I was also considering the GMPP cat-back system. although, my dealer said it would void my warranty if i put the part on my car, everyone says that's bullshit, but i just dont wanna take any chances..

Well, if they void it for the GM one, they are gonna void it for anything else too. They can't void **** for exhaust though.

How does the header and exhaust sound? Not like a Honda I hope.

Even with no cat, it doesn't sound Honda-ish. Its loud, but still deep and aggressive. A little buzzy at certain rpms and light throttle loads, but it sounds like a monster when you step on it. Everyone I know says that it fits the car perfectly. I like it like this, its just a little on the loud side.

I got the GMPP touring exhaust put on my SS/SC... sounds great, and i come from a cammed Grand Prix GTP.. so thats saying alot for this puny 2.0 litre..

apparently you net 12hp gains from the GMPP.. so i highly suggest it

have the GMMP Sport cat-back and love it! Doesn't sound like a honda. It's agressive when you're on it, and mellow at idle. though its smaller than a 2.5, and obviously a 3in catback.

If you have any knowledge of how to turn a wrench and use a sawsall, I think you should do it yourself. It is a really easy install, the hardest part being taking off the old exhaust. I had to saw in two places because I didnt have a lift, and I was on jackstands. Read the instructions and see if you think you can do it yourself.

I havent ever had a chance to compare the two side by side, but I have to say I love my Sport exhaust (also the performance exhaust)
Really deep tone, sounds good when WOT, just dont judge it early, it has to break in over 200~500 miles....

I know.... But if I do it myself, which I'm sure I could, it would void the warranty. Right?
