I did this a while ago, but I never got around to putting the pics on the comp. just thought id return the favour of sharing ideas. although its not totally my idea, i kinda got it from another post on here where he painted it black and sanded the bowtie, gotta give credit where credit is due. anyways, here it is. it looks better in real life, pics a lil blurry, but you get the idea.

i assume your talking to me since you said black... mine is just painted flat black... i think hubes probably taped it off, sanded down the paint, and polished it up

 

yeah I hate the gold, the onlt gold left on mine is that little bit on the wheels which I can live with
that black looks pretty sweet too
I didnt tape it off, i just watched what I was doing, after sanding down to 2000 grit I used polish
