Congrats on Stage 3. I wouldn't get it though. I would have gotten either Intense stage kits OR, preferably, a Cobalt Addiction Stage kit. Stage 3 isn't too good from GM, in my opinion.

Negrita SS,

Here's the deal. You definitely need to get pictures of this installed, I also require a dyno before stage 3 and a dyno after stage 3.

Thanks.

it's the stage 3 computer. it disables the a/c to keep less stuff running off the crank pulley... making more power
when stuff is running on your pulley, you suffer from "parasitic loss" the gizmos on there are costing you hp when you have them on. so gm took that away from you.
this is one of the reasons they made it Off Road ONLY. the other is that you will no longer be 50 state emissions legal

Is there a way to take stg3 off for inspection? and then would it just be worth taking out your a/c unit then?

GM disables the A/C to make it more of an "off-road" box. The kit is not CARB certified so to further prove that it is an "off-road" kit they disable the a/c.

lol, I got whacked in the head with an Eaton M62 Supercharger

My sister is a doctor so I woke her up at 11pm and told her I had a boo-boo and she had a stich kit at her house cuz she knew either me or her husband would need it one day and I won the contest lol. Oh yeah and the novicane made that thing bulge like a beach ball. It looks good now, you can barely see it but I'm still gonna get it lasered off.

Arsenal ! I'll be going stg3! No worries. I live in NJ, and even tho the summers can be hot, I never use my a/c anyway. Don't like robbing my motor of any HP! So U can still look foward to it.

My question would be this. How would the front window defogger work with the a/c not working?
