Its not Goodwrench service, its brokenwrench service.

Well after dealing with my dealership now Back and forth, I would like to advise anyone who lives or takes there car for service or anything to Markville Chev, not too anymore. They have effectively ruined my car from the ground up.

What happened as simple problem of a mishifting gear box tunred into a new tranny. At this point I was like I understand things sometimes break or wear out, fine. But when they put the new tranny on I noticed the car was really loose, pulling left and right. Steering was a nightmare, cornering felt like being on a sponge. Well I decided the next day to look at the car, checked underneath low and behold both, not one but both!!!! LOWER BALL JOINTS WERE NOT SCREWED IN theywere just threaded only slightly.

With pictures of this I go back to the dealership and demand the tech be dismissed because that is now a legal liability for both himself and the dealership. At this point because the car was driven unknowingly in this condition both wheel bearings had been damaged, and the ball joints themsevles were not good anymore.

So when they go to do that, the car is gone for a week because it turns out the new tranny they gave me is no good either. So with all this crap they keep the car for about a week. I get the car back and now the motor is totally messed the car doesn't pull and there is a huge drone coming from the motor. I am so frustrated and upset, I spent roughly 25k for a car and to have the dealership hack it into oblivion!!!!!

No wonder GM has such a hard time keeping customers and selling their cars, even the few good ones they have. I love my car and feel horrible for whats been done to it. I am at my wits end, I dunno if I can even go the legal route anymore. The car isn't modded asdie from rotors and a CAI, and it just feels and sounds like **** now. If anyone has any advice please help me out, I do not want a new car or anyhting else I just want my car they way it was.

The worst part of it all, was the fact the car was absalutely fine before I brought it in. And they managed to really mess it up. Just needed to look at the bloody tranny . . . .

I always make sure that the tech working on my car is specialized in the repair job he is doing. Who knows he might have been the Oil and lube guy doing someones break.

I don't know the laws in Canada but, can't you still get a law suit on them?

Ok well, update on this issue, Since they did the tranny They managed to damage the tranny mounts. So what we did was get new tranny mounts and re-set the motor on all the mounts. As far as the laggy feeling we found out what happened, behind the dealership there is a section of unpaved parking lot, we have had alot of rain around here lately, spring and all. Well anyways a tech had driven my car into a larger pot hole that had alot of muddy water, and it was relatively deep. Most of the wheel on the intake side had been dubmerged and this mixture of mud and water got pulled into the intake and had completely clogged it.

Luckily there was no water that had gone up the intake and into the motor. . . thank god. So now with the filter clean and the motor nicely re-set on the mounts and the new ones on. The car is more or less 100%. However I won't be bringing any of our cars there for service again, there loss for being unreliable and unable to properly maintain me as a customer.
