price quotes for stage 2 and exhaust.

i got quotes today from Southgate chevrolet for the GMPP exhaust and stage 2. the exhaust comes in two styles: preformance and touring. the preformance is 589.00 and the touring is 795.00. the stage ii he said was 1100.00 i believe this is all before shipping (if shipping would be nesesary.) and all the quotes are not including installation.....

by the way, the guy told me the differnce between the two exhaust is sound...why is the touring 200.00 more? i didnt ask.

hey apex nice seeing yah there. he happened to pull in right beside me at southgate chevrolet and oddly enough was there to ask the same question as me (prices on stage ii).

These are the worst prices ever! Do not buy anything from that dealer. Especially if they want you to pay shipping. That's just insulting when they are marking the prices up that high. Check out some of the vendor websites like crateenginedepot.com, buy it for a good price, and then have a decent dealer install it.

Haha good to meet you man

I was in booking an appointment to get my hurst short throw shifter installed and thought id get a price check as well.

Yeah those prices seem a tad.... extreme. I sort of got a chuckle when the guy said we had to buy the stage 1, and then stage 2. (he made NO reference to the upgrade package) i was just sorta like "mmm... no." then he saw that there was an upgrade haha

I dunno if i even wanna goto the dealer to get my shifter installed, i asked how long it would take and they said they werent sure and that the charge would be $105 per hour. I went to speed tech racing on 32nd and allan said he could do it in 30 min , 1 hour TOPS at 85... but speed tech only does installs on weekdays :/

Stage II at Shaganappi motors is $900 there was one on the shelf last time I checked. You might be able to get them to throw in the tax.I have the touring exhaust and have heard both the sport is a bit louder all around Idle, cruise and full throttle.**** Could probably do better on that price.I could check if you were interested.I think Saunders 1986 said saturn is the best deal on install for stage II. **** would be about $125is for the exhaust.but they are rediculous on the stage II install over $600. If you want I could do it for you pm me.
