GMS2 or Ingalls?

Which would you guys recommend purchasing first? Current mods are AEM intake and GMPP Perf. cat-back. Wheel hop is an issue with me, but not that big of one. Should I go with the Ingalls dampner before i get the stage 2 to help with potential wheel hop from the increased torque of the S2 system? Thanks.

I would get stage 2 then go to turbo tech racing they have a new motor mount that works much better then the Ingalls Dampner my opinion and there is a thread right now that a vendor is selling stage 2 for 565 shipped so you should get it cause you are not going to get it any cheaper i promise you that

Yah, I saw where TTR had those motor mounts for sale. But from the reviews I've read, they cause a lot of vibrations/annoying things to go on.. Is it worth it, or will they "break in" and quiet down? Thanks

Um from what i hear they will i have bought mine and waiting but people who have bought the dampner and had stage 2 have said they bent there motor mount and some said that they have started rusting and then others say they broke it so i went the safe way and bought the motor mount and tranny bushing for around the same price as the ingalls dampner and tranny bushings but thats my preference its up to you there are threads where they talk about the dampner though with those problems

i read somewhere that you have to place a jack under the motor to install the TTR mounts. Is this true?

go with the mount package. its 260 bucks for all three mounts, the TD doesnt really do that great of a job. for 100 bucks more, youll actually get rid of wheel hop.

I agree that you should defiantly go with Stage 2 first. Then once you drive it you will have a better idea how much money you want/need to spend to reduce wheel hop.

Rust? Aluminum doesnt rust... and I have had my ingalls on for several months and I am very satisfied. That being said, I hear very good things about the mount as well, and turbo tech racing is a great company, you will be happy with either the dampner or the engine mount from them
