The Ingals TA was nice while it lasted

The mount that attaches to the chassis side is bent after driving and racing for a couple months . Which is causing the mount to sit crooked and cause all kinds of nice noises . The mount is off the car now and I'll be calling Ingals on Tuesday . It was installed per their instuctions , and the metal washers were NOT used . Anyone else have this problem ??

Nah, but I have an 06 engine mount that has a line that sticks up and would keep the brace from doing what it did in the picture below Sorry to see that man.

That does suck, I'm sure Ingals will be cool tho..

I'd be more worried of what the engine had to do to bend it like that, sheesh, might want to look into mounts soon

I noticed yesterday lol when I shift from first 2 second (while flooring it) it feels like the whole engine wants to fly out of the front of my car. And it makes a weird knocking noise.

I have the pre production JBP motor mount on since January and no signs of stress or were right know.
but you will notice a little more vibration noise, because it's a little stiffer then the TB

The 2006 engine bracket has a notch that would not allow that to happen. I would look into ordering that mount as long as the hole pattern and overall design is the same. You can see what I'm talking about in your Ingalls install instructions or probably on some install pics on this site. Good luck, thats my advice.

the ribs on the 06 mounts will not prevent this from happening, but they will prevent it from bending it that much, but it will continue to bend above the rib, ( the rib is only like 1/4" tall)

Well I've only had the car for 700 miles. I haven't really gotten on it to much until it was irresistable (sp.) after installing intake and exhaust.

Also MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE ADJUSTING THE LENGTH OF THE DAMPER WHEN YOU ADJUST THE PRELOAD..What we are seeing alot of also is that people are not adjusting the length and the hiem joint on the damper is causing it to angle and stress the brackets hence the bending..I redid the instructions also to reflect the immportance of this..
