Just wondering what rpm you guys shift at? I'm running a 2.6", coming from a 2.8" and I can feel the car lose power after 6500 compared to the 2.8". How much is the 2.6" actually overspinning the blower at 7000rpm?

No slip at all guys, I'm running stage 2 belt and oversized tensioner pulley. I'm not loosing any boost.

It seems like 6500 to 7000 rpm takes for ever like I'm past the power point.

u know its funny, thats actually where youll start pulling on a 2.8" car. WHen I had the 2.6 I raced a balt with the 2.8 and I would pull at around 5 to 6k in second gear and third gear would be a constant pull.

Plus I'm only running like 13-14 max timing WOT!!! Still have a bit of knock here and there too.

Also my last run when loggin yesterday at 6500 the car just died! Felt like I hit a brick wall, in the HP Tuners log is showed nothing odd. Looks like the car just didn't spark.

I was kinda thinking that too but I hit 7100 a few times before when tuning my a/f ratio and it kept climbing.

I'm running 93, that's the highest I can find. My car has always been a bitch to tune though. My car has always not liked timing for some reason. It does work really good though, I know it's not lacking by having less timing or anything. I plan on getting a meth kit in a few weeks so that will help a lot. I'm thinking about getting the Devils Own progressive kit.

I'm sure about my tune, I don't have any problems there. I've put a lot of time and gas perfecting it. Research, Reserch, Research lots of that too!

Dude I can send you a couple of tunes if you want to try them. I shift at 7200 all the time. Use at own risk it goes super rich up top for some reason I am still working on it.Maybe you could try it do some tweaking and once you get it dialed in send it back. I am running 2.5 pulley dual pass intercooler and extra he.pm me your email.

pm sent

Here's a screen shot of my log where the car felt like it hit a brick wall around 6500, then I let right off it. I though I screwed up a piston (need an excuse for new pistons anyways).

Here's another shot of the run before the one above when I was trying to get rid of the knock and fixxing the a/f ratio. I was getting 5 degrees of knock at only like 13.5 - 14 degrees of timing. This is on 92 octane btw.
