anybody have one of these...? i bought one last night out of impulse.." worst part of cable internet and credit cards.. lot of impulse buying"..

just wondering how people like theres and what the install was like on a scale of 1-10.. 1 being rather easy, 10 being a total bitch..

im planning on switching out the handle with this i think so when i run my zex kit this summer thats how ill spray... but i wonder if it will look like crap

Personaly, I wouldnt put a Hurst shift knob on a TWM product. and I definately wouldnt put that one. there are pleanty of better weighted round knobs with a low key button on them. Search around.

i saw one that had the button but now i cant find it and it makes a me crabby... i guess ill have do more searching .. i know hurst makes some with the button thats a ball but i cant find another manufacture that makes something like that...

well from what im told its a good choice by my buddy with a scion...

 

I have the TWM, and I love it! The only hard part of the install was dremeling (you have to dremel a tiny bit of the factory plastic to be able to get into all your gears, but you dont see that plastic and it was no biggie). The TWM shift knob is great, so don't change it! Its satin aluminum, so it feels great and dosen't super over heat in the sun. 10 for 10 quality, and maybe like a 4-5 for install difficulty.

Thinking about ordering a TWM with a flat black Desert Eagle knob upgrade. Figured I might as well go all out

Anyone else rocking the Desert Eagle? Does the heavier knob make a difference?

 

I have the TWM,its so much more price and a shorter throw,I could not go back to stock.I think an engine or tranny mounts would compliment it nicely

 

i also have a twm, its pretty sweet. i don't think i attached the boot correctly though, and the new metal collar clicks when I shift and the boot is not connected to anythig it kinda jus sits in its holder. pretty odd, but it doesn't bother me that much. i'll fix it one of these days.

The metal coller goes on the shifter then there is a black zip tie that goes in the shift boot. Put the boot on the shifter push it down on top of the metal coller and zip it tight then put the knob on top. The boot will cover the coller and your shift knob will sit on the boot.

 

same here i love my twm shifter feel great like anything the adjustment to the shifter box was the only trouble other than that easy to install. The knob i like is this one
