PLX SM-AFR: Best budget wideband?

With HP Tuners pro on the way, I'm in the market for a wideband, and the PLX SM-AFR combo with gauge for $269 usd seems like an unbeatable deal. For that you're getting a wideband controller, o2 sensor, 0-5v and 0-1v analog outs, and even a gauge running off a serial out. Is this the ideal budget wideband solution, or will I regret not buying a more expensive unit? If you have any first-hand experience with the PLX, please post it up!
