make sure that your bro can point out to them that a Cobalt is not a suped up Cavalier or anything close to a cavalier.

fake edit: that is all

This needs to STOP right now. We really don't need trolling!!! It will deface the definition of a typical Cobalt SS owner. If they say we are a souped up cavalier, who cares. There is too much drama on these forums!

our wheels are heavy but they look bad ass, especially going down the road. when my car was on the dyno i noticed the wheels look almost identical to the late 80's corvette wheels, this is only while spinning: they have th edisk in the middle that stays solid , then it looks like the tire/lip is floating cause you can't really see the legs on the rim after about 75 mph or so.... it looked much better than i originally thought

That's funny that some VW owners want the SS wheels Truthfully, the SS wheels are similar to the TT's thick 5-spoke, just go with that. Perfect fit!

I like having the best of both worlds--my Golf TDI with 17" Volkswagen wheels and my Cobalt

BTW, the vortex guys are mean over there now, they used to play nice in the sandbox

Most VW guys I know are mean. When I go to autocrosses the VW guys always like to call mine a cavy or something like that. But hey when its all over and i get a better time they don't have much to say.

im 99vr6 on vwvortex.com and i defended it, i think it looks pretty good. people dont like what they dont understand, and most people on there dont really get the cobalt. i had a couple threads on there that asked for their opinions on the SS awhile back, and about 98% of the people said they hated it....o well, i like my VR6 and the SS
