Need a 3rd brake light

Right now I am waiting on delivery of a carbon fiber trunk lid from Xcelereated Concepts. It comes with no spoiler holes, a shaved lock and a shaved 3rd brake light. After talking with my friends, we've arrived at the conclusion that I won't last long before getting ticketed for the no-light. So, I need a solution.

I've looked around on eBay for universal 3rd brake lights and didn't really like what I saw. I need something that can be mounted on my rear deck lid, and that won't stick up to high or impair my visibility.

Anyone have any ideas?

Drill some holes somewhere and put some high intensity red LED's in the holes

Either on the trunklid or bumper.

Put an LED strip like the one from the impala's on you back dash against the rear window...then find some way of molding it/covering it so it looks good from the inside too!

Yeah, it's in the Manitoba Highway Traffic Act.

I'm going to try an LED strip light up high where the rear window meets the headliner. There is a bit of an alcove there, hopefully with some meat for me to drill into...
