I bought ebony cloth seats for my cobalt on ebay (I originally had a grey interior), and upon taking apart the passenger seat, I noticed what looks like a factory heated seat kit, correct me if I'm wrong. What doesn't make any sense to me is that it's only on the passenger seat. I also thought the heated seat kit was only available on leather. Is there an explanation here??

I am not 100% sure, but I think that is the sensor for the passenger airbag. Isn't there one on your old seat?

yeah thats what it is, the 05's didnt have the airbag weight sensor in the passneger seat
