drag radials

if i get drag radials do i have to get new rims?

only if you don't want to drive on them every day - their treadlife is horrible compared to tires meant for daily-driving.

that and you will hate driving on anything other than dry pavement.

you have them before? i mean this is prob the last mod i will do after i'm done everything just wanna now how good they are

they do their job. i know guys who DD them... u just gotta remember that at a light you can't drop the clutch or bye-bye axles. that and if it rains, you stay home.

you will want to get smaller rims as getting 18" drag radials are as expensive as buying 16" wheels and rubber.

so you can't drive in the rain with them? bad traction, if i get them i don't plan on using them for normal driving. just wondering abou the rain tho

one of the reasons you get more traction with slicks/DRs is because people go with a smaller rim, larger sidewall.

that extra sidewall helps a ton when launching because it acts like a cushion for all the torque you put down, deflecting, but still keeping traction...and then kinda slingshotting you.


more sidewall = your friend.
