help choosing some lowering springs.

after i get my gm lip and eventually my side skirts replaced(too low to the ground for rest of the kit) i plan on -slightly- lowering my car. i dont want to do anything crazy , and i know nothing of suspension stuff but i just want some springs that wont make me have to get extra crap. i dont know how to explain it. basically i just want some springs that i can throw in there and not have to do anything else and not be worried about breaking something. if there is such a thing. if not then fsck i'll just get ss springs. lol

So they're ******* you on the front end then huh? Sorry to hear it man.

You'll need to see how low it is once you get the new stuff on before you drop it.

yeah. i was going to end up changing my side skirts anyways if i got the ss bumper. they cut a deal with me-ish and said that they will order the gm front lip(which does look nice) and paint and install it for free, and if i want, they will get the side skirts and i wont have to pay for them, just for the paint and install.

Sportlines are a big drop too. And the Pro-Kit I feel dosen't drop it enough to really make a difference. For a "slight" drop from a trusty spring manfactuer, i'd reccomend Progress.

I'm on Pro-kits with RK sport kit. It's a great combo. The front lip is a little close to the ground and grounds out occasionally. I installed some aluminum skid plates on the lip to protect it.

eibach proline wouldn't be bad, but if its just a drop you want save yourself come cash and get the SSC springs. I think they give the perfect drop, I would like to see just a little more in the front, but thats only because i'm pickey. sportlines are too much of a drop in my oppinion. tenzos... no. they don't lower your car, they slam it.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/suspension-67/all-those-who-have-asked-ssc-springs-57272/ thats some good pictures with the ssc to show you exactly how much of a drop to expect.
