On Thursday may 10th I was invited to a pre release test drive of the beta version for Forza 2. I naturally start my career with the Cobalt SS/SC (which is the top car in the D class) and began to win some races and start to modify the car with things I thought I would do if I had the money. I changed the brakes,suspension,tires,rims, full cage and weight reduction and then a bunch of engine stuff. The car had over 300 after I was done with the engine stuff, and was beating the pants off of alot of cars. The graphics are alot better then the first forza and the detail of the cars and scenary are awesome. The way the cars now react is better now aswell simply things like changing the tire pressures can now be noticed in the way the car handles. The night I went for the testdrive I spent over three hours on the game and I only stop because half my left hand started to fall asleep.

I tried a couple of the Time trial parts of the game and drove the Ferrari 333sp and the old Porsche 956 around the Nurburgring and holy smokes those two races cars are fast. I also drove a couple Lambos and well they were kinda crap, first up was a Contach and then a Diablo niether of the two handled how I was hoping they would so to make up for those to I tried the RS4 Audi on the ring and had a blast. The Menu's in the game are changed from the past version and depending on the car you are going to drive it will be rotating above the menus, so everytime I went to the main menu I would see my Cobalt rotating about the menus.

anyways that was my fun, now I am gonna need a Xbox 360

Damn need to upgrade I love Forza

 

360 been out over a year... hell yeah you need to upgrade its sad that people havent upgraded yet and that the PS2 is still selling like 100 thousands consoles each month

I moded my X-box, I love I do not want to spend the money to upgrade. I have 40 games on my hard drive there are a few newer games that they made for both, but it is only a matter of time until that stops.

 

can you hear the supercharger in the game?

 

I couldn't hear it but it might have been how the options were set up. I should have tried somthing like the older Cobra that was supercharged and seen if you could hear it. When you go to buy performance parts they have all of the companies that actually sell parts for our cars, like GMPP, RKsport, Gravana etc.

 

As I wait for my 360 to come back from its repair (warranty ... FREE TO ME!!!) I broke out the original Forza on the old XBOX. Great stuff and I can't freaking wait until I get my hands on this game. I've had it reserved since February!
