Factory warranty works wonders...had that problem with the boyfriends 05 SS/SC, took it into the dealership I was working at, covered under warranty and no more rattling....I agree though, that was one of the worst sounds, definitely sounded like a ricer, I was embarassed to drive it!!!....Theres a thread started a lil while back about this also...you guys aren't alone, this is a reoccuring problem!

Do not rip parts off your car.

Is it warrantied? Go get it fixed for free.

No? Go to midas and have them weld it back on.

When I worked for one of GM's competitors, We wrapped LONG hose clamps around them and snugged them up. Worked quite well. Warranty would be a better option if it is available though.

it's not a MUST HAVE part, you don't really need it. Kinda like the plastic air dam up front.

However, if your warranty is still intact, i would suggest you take it to the dealer and have it fixed for free

No, I don't think it matters what exhaust you have. as long as you haven't voided your powertrain warranty (like me ) with smaller pullies, etc. they get kinda iffy when they see aftermarket power mods, and tend to void warranties
