Hahn actually does sell them now, but there is no tuning for it. Without tuning it is useless. Here is a link to Hahn.

you dont just have to buy a kit, you can do it all yourself, but good luck tuning is a pain in the @$$, believe me

how the hell does this mean I dont know anything about my car? I know tuning is going to be a bitch, but I have seen videos and have heard of people doing it, and I know if its tuned right they can be brutal.

Im asking the question beucase I have seen people with them and went to hahns site and didnt find a place to purchase them, I know how it works, Im a mechanic at a chevy dealership with 4 ASE certs already and Im in class for the rest, so I would hope I know something,

I ask the question beucase I could find a link or site that sold them but I have seen kits people have had on here before soo..... there you go.

and if Im the one who doesnt know what there saying how come your name is 2.4ss/sc?
last time I checked my ss/sc was a 2.0

i love it when people have certs and they think there god. your not going to know everything the smartest and the tech making the most money is the one that is open to learn something from others, not just in schooling but in the feild also.

X2

I repeat NJHKs response of why?

If you did know what you were talking about you would know that twincharging is a giant waste or resources and time. It's a thermal and tuning nightmare and it's an inefficeint way of making good horsepower. Two poweradders to do what can be done with one? It doesn't make any sense. In theory it's a great idea, but in reality it's not.

Just swap out the stock eaton for something like a twin screw or a centrifigal or go turbo. You will achieve the same results, probably better results, for less headache.

Twincharged cars are rougher than being beaten with a bat.

the only reason for twincharging is if you wanna be in a magazine or something. it's not a very practical way to go fast. do a turbo swap if you want the BOV sound

Do whatever you want man. its your car. i think it would be cool. some people put c/f hoods on. they dont add any h/p. I dont really like the c/f look. thats an opinion. if you have the time and money. DO IT. now. this does not void what everyone else says. It's not practical.

I'm curious as to why you would say its a tuning nightmare but then recommend a complete compressor swap.

In my experience tuning a turbo swapped car, its much more difficult and pretty much borders on the stock PCMs ability to run the engine reliably and efficiently. With a compressor swap, you lose the capability of diagnosing airflow and fueling problems by eliminating stock sensors and actuators.

IIRC a twincharged LSJ was built and tuned with 0 emissions faults using none other than an SMT for additional fueling before the days of HPTuners support. A few sensor relocations and added injectors had that car running quite reliably.
