Magnaflow Catback?

Does anyone know if they sell the muffler in the Magnaflow Catback for the 2.2 Cobalt (PN 16618) by itself? It doesn't have to be the same model, but something that sounds similar would be awesome. I can get the tubing built for about $90 at the local garage and get just as much gain. I've been looking at all sorts, and I think I like the Magnaflow sound over the Borla.

That said, does anyone know the PN of the muffler in the GMPP Touring catback?

EDIT: I went with a Magnaflow 12215, but feel free to read the thread for generally Pro-Magnaflow sentiments and updates.

Dude, I feel the same way about the Magnaflow. I've listened to countless number of exhausts, and I think the Magnaflow has a great, deep sound. I love it, and that's probably the route I will go as well when I upgrade my exhaust.

i have magnaflow currently installed on my balt, and the deepness it added was amazing. They did the 2.5 tubing and installed the cats the whole nine yards for 380. Adding a cold air intake to it, just made it deeper and louder

Yup totally agree with the above. Soon as I got my cobalt first thing I ordered was magnaflow exhaust, sounds mean.

Thanks for the replies guys, if you can include PNs that would be awesome. Otherwise I'm looking at this Flowmaster 60 series which I'm not nearly as sure about.

Okay, I'm looking at a Magnaflow 13215 2.25" C/O. I've heard a couple of reviews on it but no actual sound clips. I'm also looking at that Flowmaster 60 Series since it's super quiet when idling. Any more recommendations?

Awesome, after spending the past week looking around I decided on this Magnaflow 12215. I feel like it's gonna work better than the 3 chambered muffler I was looking at (the 13215) since there's no baffles to shake loose or whatever. I got it on eBay for $61 shipped, hopefully it'll be here in a few days (only traveling from TN to KY so hopefully by Tuesday).

I'll keep you guys posted!

I love the sound of mine after putting my Magnaflow catback on. I especially love cruising around at just above 40 mph when it shifts into 4th (since mine's an auto), because it's got the deepest, grumbliest sound I've heard on a 4 cylinder.

Magnaflow FTW!!

Hey bluesoul, did you get it on the car yet? I almost bought an exhaust over the weekend, but I think it'll be cheaper if I take my own muffler.

I did! I went with that 12215, and I got a custom catback built and installed for under $100. It's a great deep sound, not ricey or high-pitched and there's no drone when you're cruising. I'm really happy with it.

I just lost my compressor. I'm hoping it was just a fluke that it happened so soon after installing this custom catback. ETA on getting my car back is three days.
