Red face ca stage 4 kit doubts and worries

i recently purchased the cobalt addiction stage 4 kit cause the advertised 65 hp over stock kept flashing and looked more and more enticing. i havent gotten it yet and im somewhat afraid to end up with a blown piston (rip). the only mod i have currently is an aem cold air intake. have you guys heard anything pertaining these kits and what would your recommendations and mods to follow this BIG HP and BOOST upgrade. i live in TX so its hotter than Satan's ******* down here. would that make a difference

the kit comes with a ZZP Interchangeable Pulley system , 2 step colder ngk IRIDIUM spark plugs , GM shortened belt , ZZP Adjustable Tensioner , 60# Siemens Injectors , Injector Wiring Harness, Stage #4 Retune

thanks

I'd be careful, and I would definitely get it dyno tuned.

I was the test car for their stage kits (all 6) I'm currently running my own modifed version of stage 6 for the last 15000 miles with no issues what soever. The out of the box tune is pretty safe timing and afr wise (new tune) but with all major upgrades it is definitely recommended to get your car fine tuned by a professional dyno shop to get the absolute most out of it. But you should not see any ill effects overall.

Meth Injection. I 'm picking it up soon and i am only running a 2.9. It will defintately help keep things cooler.

meth is key to the motors survival at those boost levels... that's why mine is still running strong

meth injection is great i had it on my h23 boosted to 6 psi i think its what held my motor together for so long.

for someone who puts alot of miles on there car and just wants enough power to take out some lightly modded big cars whats suggested as far as ca stage kits?

Just get it and the dual pass and you won't be sorry. The HE helps too. You shouldn't need a custom tune beyond what CA does with the PCM. I've had the set up above for three months now.
