Is there anyone that is in the Dunedin area? my dad was talkin to someone yesterday at the chevy dealership thats gonna sell him the grill to his cobalt that hes gonna get rid of and i just wanted to know if you were on here, if so just give me a shout back id like to talk to u on what you have done to your car. My dad told me that you have it up to 300hp and i was wondering with all the stuff you have done to it if the car is still under warranty or not. if not thats cool i still want to get mine around 300-350hp.

 

I am definably not, but I have traveled there to watch the Jays play some grape fruit league. I like that area.

i am not the one that your dad talked to but if you go that high in hp you will have to change the pistons and the valve springs and stud the head. gm has a book out just for the lsj and how to build a 300hp lsj. but this will void any warry.

yeah it was at dimmit on U.S 19 they guy was tellin my dad that there is something wrong with his car but they dont know what it is so they are taken it back. so im gonna get his grill that he has on it already its a metal mesh that i cant find anywhere so i got the hook up

 

Yeah the guy with the blue cobalt there only has stage 2 well i was there 3 weeks ago.. hes a mechanic in there service dept. He worked on my cobalt when the sound quit working..

 

oh well they guy told my dad that he had it up to around 300 maybe he was lying, but regardless im hoping that the grill looks good. do u know if it does or not? My car is silver am i gonna have to repaint the grill or anything?

 

I dont think he had 300 hp. He took me for a ride in his car and it didnt feel anywhere near that. I love that lower grill he has you lucky bastard.

 

Hey you Bay area Cobalt owners...I've been vacationing in Clearwater/Largo, been to Tampa a half dozen times, drive the US 19 all the time and I have yet to see even ONE SS Supercharged on the road. Is this normal for this area or are you guys nocturnal

 

that guy does not have 300, he drove my car and said it felt faster than his, and im on the stage reflash.

hes a crazy ************ drives the car like he stole it ...and thats prob why he is lemoning it. He was telling me stories of how with like 10 miles on it he was doing crazy burnout out of the dealership, and he can because he works there

and btw that grill does look sick!

 

Yeah when he took me for a ride he never used 4th or 5th gear just kept it in the gear that held the best power and didnt shift till redline and thats normal driving he said he hit 5th once when he told silverss he did 160mph



yeah there arent very many.

 

oh well its all good i still think with enough time i can get my car up there in that range. ill let my dad know not to ever get in the car with him unless he feels like having a heart attack. he doesn't sound all that smart of a driver. what does the lower grill look like i haven't seen it. Iv been in Illinois for the navy and my dad said he was gonna get it so im just taking his word for it. Is it something i can just take off his and put it on mine?
