My mods have begun!

Well guys I went and ordered my GMPP mid level spoiler today, here's a pick for those who don't know what it looks like....

I ordered it thu my buddy at ADSCOM for $200.00. WOO HOO not bad eh?

And I also ordered my GMPP touring exhaust too! ($400 for it) The exhaust is supposedly on back order and should take about 2 weeks to come in. Oh well its at least on its way! Windows are getting tinted day after tomorrow!

I'll post pics when I get the spoiler painted and I install it that way everything will be done and you'll see the half way finished product.

I think I'll be the very first one here with this spoiler on thier car! BTW its plastic NOT fiberglass.

coolness man you have the 2.0 or 2.4 im to lazy to read profiles lol. thats an excelent price for the touring exhaust. did you get a tip with that. cuz when you order the exhaust it doesnt come with one..... thats about 50 or 60 more. anywhos sweet spoiler i still like my low pro on my 2.4 it would look sweet with a high pro and im researching the supercharger kit from the 2.0 to put on my 2.4 i believe itl work. well see ya.

I have a 2.4 SS sedan so between my GMPP intake, GMPP touring exhaust and the CA header I'm getting that should put me to about 200 hp up from the stock 173. HP at the wheels I'm looking to be around 175 or so.

See, I didn't know anyone else that had it. So is it very loud? I hope not.

hey jackolope actually it wont get you at 200crank hp. not with just those 3. read my sig i have everythign listed. and with my dyno sheets i put down 170 whp b4 i readjusted AFRs i should be puttin down close to 175whp now. and at the crank you have to figure in 12 to 15% loss of power due to wheels shafts and trans. and if you figure a 15% loss which is high im running only 197.8 thats with 172whp figure with 15% loss. so were very close to 200. i also have 34# injectors and a fairly good tune afrs are very good now. wait till spring next year lol.

ryan.

p.s. you will also need a highflow dp from CA to also get another 5whp. so everything in my sig if you get that you will be almost 200crank hp.

the 2.4 manual is dynoing at 140 not any less. but every car is different. so id say at the least and at the most 140 to 142whp

ryan. Im about the quickest 2.4 so far.

not to burst your bubble, but i seriously doubt you'll be at those numbers...Since all the other people who have that set-up, aren't even close to that.

you'll probably be up to 165 WHP, or around that...

Thanks Ryan, but I did say "about" didn't I? JK man JK. Anway I'm not too worried cause I'm waiting to hear bach from HAHN as to when they are gonna release their turbo kit and then I'll make the "I'm at 240 WHP!" post.

And Red 2.4 I think they do put down around 150 to 160 at the wheels in stock form. Does anyone know for sure?

Nah no bubble burst here man its all good. I'll have the HAHN kit before too long and then hello 240 at the wheels.

So you guys think around 160 to 170 or so at the wheels then?

i know youl be at about 160 or at most 165 cuz you dont have injectors or DP so you might be lucky to get 163. other than that a stock 2.4 dynos at about 140whp said it previously. and actually the turbo kit from hahn should be puttin down about 250whp so well just have to see. cuz im thinking about doing the opposite of that. taking a SC from a 2.0 and throwing on my 2.4 it will work just needs lots of tuning. i already have injectors. i would need sc, intake mani, and new cai, sell my old one, reposition my windshield washer tank, um i think colder plugs, pulley, serpentine belt for supercharger, and something else im missing lol.

I'm JEALOUS of the wing! I want one, but the wife is frowning on any mods right now.

I love the GMPP touring exhaust on mine. You can hear it driving around, but it pretty much fades into the background on the highway, meaning it doesn't drone you to death on a trip. Nice, deep sound. My wife started the car as I was walking around to the drivers side and was just passing the exhaust. I was startled by how good it sounded!

Mine was on back-order - they make them to order, aparently, but it came in within the 2 weeks.

Now get the GMPP intake and an RKSport hood!

Well I actualy just heard back from HAHn and they say thier kit should be ready in a month or and that its a very promissing kit that should make everyone who gets it happy. So now I can't freeking wait! I may just skip the header if this kit is right around the corner cause why wast $200 to just replace the header in less then a year with the turbo kit right?

Thanks LewiSS! And I already have the GMPP intake The RK hood will be my birthday present to myself since my wife is useless when it comes to getting me anything at all anymore.

in a month hahn is suppossed to have their turbo kit out. yeah il believe it when they post the stuff on there website. cuz if they are then i might do turbo instead of sc but whichever is cheaper and easier but i think the supercharged would be cooler since i dont know of anyone who is wanting to do this sept me i think it has exeptional gains with smaller pulley and stuff i already got injectors but well see.

Thought you did - must have mis-read your first post. When you get the RKSport hood, let me know how well the GMPP intake seals on the underside of the hood.

Yeah I can't get anyone who seems to know what to do to tune the 2.4, I gave up and went back to stock. Got tired of that damn CEL all the time and the writer of the tune doesn't want to offer any help since he got the harnesses from me. Funny, as soon as the harnesses made it to him he can't be bothered anymore, weird huh? *shrug* Oh well I know better for the future now I guess.

Yeah man PM me so I can give you my E-mail addy. Thanks.

well dude i got mine tuned with the stockers from the 2.0 and runs amazing. you have to find someone who will tune it the right way and make sure your afrs are running around 12.5 well atleast thats good for my car every car is different but not much. i dont let me know if you have any qs about injectors.

Well unfortuetly noone in the MD area knows what they're doing with the 2.4 so I'm screwed. I have the 2.0 injectors, and the harness for them and it all works, but that damn cel!

Not worried I'm on the list for the HAHN kit when it comes out.

yea well im thinkin bout it too for hahn. but since everyone is thinking about doing the hahn kit im thinking about doing the opposite just for that reason cuz everyone is doing it. i want to be one in my own. so im thinking about SC on my 2.4 same setup as the 2.0s and stage 1 and stage 2 upgrades i might get new pistons too.
