i would just to gm stage 2 for now, if you can afford it, you don't wanna do to much incase there's a problem you gotta be able to afford to fix it, plus GM stage 2 is under warranty

thats true but there is a problem with doing stage 2, no dealer around here wants to install it, becasue they have never did it before, and i asked if they were to install it how much they told me nearly $500

is there a Kenne Bell swap kit out yet? or will there be by like September time?

I thought you were referring to TAG when you said they weren't making one for our cars. I believe Blown 4-Banger is doing a custom whipple swap for his car.

Honestly, if I could buy an SS/SC and it already had stage 2 on it, I wouldn't mind it, but as for puttiong money into it, no way. I'm planning on going an alternative route with forced induction, a much more efficient route. No need in wasting money.

I'd rather put a 2.6 pulley on the twinscrew than the eaton!!!

Yeah, alternatively, on a hot day *sputter-sputter-sputter-BOOM*

Wow... for 17 and only having one summer to save you've got some ambitions.

Have you considered getting a 2.8 and some 60lbers and getting a custom tune? It won't generate too much heat... plus you could go with a front-mount or the dual-pass mod to keep temps down.

A supercharger swap is gonna run major $$$... like a couple of thousand... plus tuning and etc. You are better off making power with what's already on there. Sure, it has it's limits too... but I don't see anyone around here making more than 300hp with an engine that's still in one piece.

If you want serious power you need to upgrade the pistons and valve trane as well.

You could always just put her on the bottle... 50 shot or so... no need to worry about heat there.

Stage 2... 2.9... solid mounts... intake... header/manifold... exhaust...

that's not insanely expensive... and will give you a decent power increase over stock while still maintaining your warranty.

Do you have anything done yet? or are you bone stock?

Its a smaller blower that has less parasitic loss, and gives a lot more power. TAG is making it so that its 100% bolt on. Get to keep your Fujita intake and everything.

That is actually a good idea. Though for the custom tune and stuff he'd have to have HPTuners or know someone with it, correct? That can run pretty steep as well.

And I believe the guy with the TAG turbo swap, who has 323 whp, is running on stock internals and a bad clutch.

they aren't doing the Kenne Bell swap, but TAG is still hard at work on our twin scroll.
