dont like it. If your going to get rims...dont get the same size as your stockers and reuse the tires... the point of rims if to go bigger and smaller tires.

I'm not sure. I'm liking Sportlines but our mechanic wouldn't be able to get the damn thing on the lift once I lowered it.

EDIT: And for what it's worth I may move up to 17s (Konig Unknowns or Further 5s) when the money's there.

I think its a prefrence thing. Some people like the stock size. Just want to change up the look from all the other stockers out there.

Anyways, I think its alright. Not my style but if you like it thats what counts. Sets it off from the others for sure.

If it were the ss/sc, and he got 18's it would look okay. he has the 15", and because its an LS with HYUGEIE!!!! tires it looks kind of funny. But people don't always go bigger with rims. They stay the same size.

i dont think that is entirely true.. i have a lift in my garage, and i have done plenty of wrk on my car and i have no problems getting my car up on the lift.. and if you dont want sportlines, go with the prokit

I think it looks good. I'm going to buy stock size rims for mine as well. I hate hubcaps, otherwise I would just leave it all stock. I guess I'm just getting old *shrug* If or when you decide to sell those let me know

I hate to say it, but if you are going to spend money on rims, get something better then stock size. You really have to do the whole package. Plus size it, and get tires.

Sure thing.

Here's something cool guys. I'm gonna get 50,000 miles on my 15s. How many miles are you getting on your 17s and 18s?

Why would you buy rims, not have enough money for tires and then buy new rims and tires when you get the money? That makes no sence to me.Do it right the first time. Why would you wanna waste money like that?

Why would you call bs on that?I have seen plenty of lowered cars not fit on lifts. When i worked at dealerships,we had plenty of cars that were dropped that couldnt fit on the lift properly.****,i had a mild drop on my z24 and you would have to lift up on the fender wells to get the lift pad under the car.SO,its not that uncommon.

Shoulda went for 16s. There the best performing rims and 15s are the WORST. Theres a point where smaller doesnt mean faster for rims. I want 16s on my SS/SC but it wouldnt look as good and i dont wanna downgrade.

hes saying if he lowers his basemodel he would have a hard time or wouldnt make it onto lifts or get jacks underneeth, and i said thats crap since my cobalts lowered and the ss/sc model has the lip kit all around and the plastic piece in the front for the intercooler and i still make it on fine. since his car doesnt have any of those there would be no reason other than airride which is height adjustable that he could not make it onto a lift. Also why would you have to lift on a fender when you could just drive onto boards where the tires were?!

Yeah, your right. The base model shouldnt have any problems getting on a lift. What kind of lift are you talking about drivivng on the board? The lifts you drive onto or the regular lifts that have the 4 arms that swing under them?Im talking about the ones with the arms. The lifts we had were garbage. It was easier to lift up on the fender well and have someone kick the lift under the car then to walk around looking for pieces of wood.If your talking about the lifts you drive onto, then yeah your gonna need a piece of wood.Thats common sence

im saying even for the lifts with the arms if you had to lift fenders, just put 2x4s where the wheels would sit and you could swing the arms under with no obstructions and you wouldnt have to lift fenders but hey whatever worked for you. i know my ass wouldnt lift ****, id do it the easy way
