How do I get there?

 

I'm debating on going....I've never been.

 

well depending on where you are but if your comin from stl/ west county or anyother county.. you can go take 40 across the river and then follow the signs that say Gateway international raceway.. or ill do this:


Coming to Gateway:
BLUE LOT -- Take I-55/70 to Exit 4, take Route 203, and take the south turnoff toward Fairmont City. You will be redirected to Route 203 North at a temporary turnoff near the intersection of the ramp and Collinsville road, and asked to stay in the right lane going into the Blue lot. Coming South on Illinois Route 203, you will turn left at Ohio Street to thelot.

ORANGE LOT -- Take I-55/70 to Exit 4, take Route 203 North, and stay left in order to turn onto the track grounds at the Ohio Street light. At the track entrance you will be asked to turn right, heading towards the lots.

BROWN LOT -- Take I-55/70 to Exit 4, take Route 203 North, and stay left in order to turn onto the track grounds at the Ohio Street light. At the track entrance, you will be directed left, either to Brown South or the infield, depending on your parking location.

RED LOT (Used only on Race Days) -- Take the McKinley or Poplar Street bridges to Illinois Route 3 and follow the signs to Big Bend Road. Turn onto Frontage Road and the entrance to the lot, near the entrance to Gateway National Golf Links. The lot is also accessible from Illinois Route 203 North or South.

GREEN LOT -- Can be accessed from I-55/70 and Illinois Route 203 North and South, or the McKinley and Poplar Street bridges to Illinois Route 3 and Big Bend Road.

If you do not have a pre-paid parking lot assignment, you will be directed first to the Blue lot, and then to another lot if Blue is full. It is STRONGLY recommended that you pre-purchase your parking to avoid delays getting to the facility.

In case of inclement weather, Red Lot traffic will be diverted to another lot.

When leaving Gateway:
BLUE/BROWN LOTS -- exit south on Illinois Route 203 to the I-55/70 exit.

ORANGE - -exit at Southwest end of Gateway property onto Old Route 40, and on to I/55-70.

RED LOT -- exit on Big Bend Road west to Illinois 3 and either the McKinley or Poplar Street bridges.

GREEN LOT -- exit Big Bend Road west to Illinois Route 3 and either the McKinley or poplar Street bridges, or north on Illinois Route 203.

2) you should go... its an awesome time.. not to mention the hot girls lol at least during the after party

 

i might be down there, debating. money is the factor

 

you could also mapquest it thats what i did the first time i went and relized how easy it is to get there.

 

I will be there, no car this year to race (10 second drag cavalier is not ready yet) but we will have some "Turbo Tech Racing" T Shirts if you see us around walking, stop and say hi.
