This happened to me here in Houston the other day. I didn't end up with any damage but it made a horrible sound and I got pissed.

rim is ok as long as it is repaired by a pro. i'm sure you know better, but dont take torches or prybars to the wheel to straighten it out.

well at least you were not boxed in by semis and had something kicked up into the front of your car causing 1000 dollars worth of damage, that happened to me on my way back from panama city. that does suck though, sorry bout your luck.

That happened to me about 4 months ago. Cost me the windshield, damage to the hood, roof, drivers side fender, front bumper, and drivers side headlight. I don't get NEAR trucks anymore if I can help it.

Well just ordered my new tire from Tire Rack. $97 and change. My buddy at Costco tire center broke down the wheel and tire and we checked it REAL good! Put it on the ballence machine to make sure its not bent, it looks good.

Check and see if you have the wheel insurance. I didn't know I had it until GM sent me the info. It covers any damage to wheels and tires for up to 2 years from time of purchase.
