AFR from my dyno the other day...

So I'm quite the noob when it comes to understanding the info I got from the dyno, but I think that my AFR at max HP was 10.62

Is this about right? Too lean? Too rich? I tried a search, but came up with unorganized answers..

It's a little fat (rich). 11.5-11.8 is where these cars like to be across the board.

With our cars high 10's in the higher rpms is where you want to be. Our engines don't seem to like anything above mid 11s.

ugggghhh what kind of dyno????? I put down 221 with just a manifold. It also depends on how they had the dyno set up but still seems low, unless it was a mustang.

How can I tell if it was a mustang dyno? It was an above ground dyno if that has anything to do with it..

Can you post the dyno sheets? What do they say on them?

I don't have a scanner, and I am gonna email the place to see if they can send me a datafile of the sheets.

The top says dynojet research... But no other details besides the results.. I'm uploading the video of the dyno run. Maybe you guys can tell from that. It will take a few minutes

Ok then it was on a Dynojet and your numbers should be quite a bit higher. Sounds like he didnt have it set up right. Did any others cars dyno that day? If so what were they making with what mods?

Well here in Calgary and with my modes I put down 219 whp and 198 wtq on a mustang dyno. The mustang dyno is a ego buster as the dyno puts a load on the rollers to simulate road conditions thats why they are better for tuning on a dyno. My numbers on a dyno-jet would equate to something in the range of 265 +/- 5 whp and 237 +/- 5 wtq estimated. Take a look in my garage, I have the sheets posted there>

Well this is depressing...

Hmm, there was only one car up that I saw that day. It was a nissan sentra. But I didnt see it to any runs, so i dunno..

I was dissapointed at first, but I started a thread when i got back, and people said that the readings seem about right. But i still felt it was kinda low..

Well, here's the dyno vid anyways..
