Those of you with the GMPP Manifold....

Do I need to get the whole reseal kit for the GMPP extuded honed manifold or do I just need individual parts? IOr do I even need to replace anything? I only have 12,000 miles on my car. Thanks, in advance.

always use new gaskets when chaning out exhaust pieces.. or else you will end up alot of time with leaks that become very aggravating..

hell.. you could probably go to like Advance or Autozone and they would have the gaskets cheaper

Okay, so I wouldn't need any studs or stud nuts. Just the 2 gaskets?

bump

Mine came with gaskets and studs. If you have any question just PM crate engine depot. Tom should be able to help you out.

I got the manifold to down pipe bolts and nuts . Cost me like $5 at the dealership . Make sure if you do ge the manifold to chek out the holse becasue towards the ends where it meets the engine the holes were like stock so I bored it out with my dremel and polishihed it as well. Oh and when you do it there is a certain toque sequence to tighten the nuts from the manifold to the block. The only one I did not replace was the down pipe to the cat back becasue the catback came with a new gasket and I did hte install 4000 miles prior .

I would reccomend buying the whole thing... gasket, studs, bolts. Better safe than sorry and CED's prices can't be beat.

What is the torque sequence to tighten the nuts from the manifold to the block?

Yeah, I'm still debating on the CA header or gmpp manifold. I don't think it will effect the warranty any if I go with the CA header because my dealership won't know any different. They are retards. Have you heard good things about the CA header?

Not worried, When they took out the old gasket I was suprised to see no wear at all. We checked all the studs and they were staight and no wear also. I've got about 30 picks of the install with the manifold, stage 2 and a performance cat-back but I don't know how to easily show the pics.....................let me know how to and I will start a new thread right now!!!!!
