.....And I need some help here. I am talking with a shop here to do a custom exhaust once the header comes in. I told them about the downpipe and cat not being stainless and the H20 factor some have mentioned in the TOG thread. He suggested doing an aluminum exhaust and while he says they do a lot of these for big ford trucks I have never even heard of this option for our cars. Your help and opinions guys are appreciated as I don't want to order anything that I don't need to pay duty on (I'm in Canada) if there is a better option. Thanks :cssNET:

my guess is he is talking about aluminized tubing
but who knows

The shop might mean aluminumize steel which is what the TOG downpipe is made out of.
Actually the stock exhaust I think is: "stainless steel with aluminized coating on the muffler and tailpipe"

okay so is this a good idea or bad idea when compared to stainless paired up to TOG's product?
