I removed my tinted tail lights because as you can already imagine i was getting pulled over like none other with a blacked out car. I also removed the front window tint and Bent and threw on my front plate.

ayep, i've got em on both sides. THere's like 4 other cobalts in this area that i randomly drive by every now and again, trying to lure them to some meets

so far no problems and everything is running correctly, so no complaints here. i felt a big gain after putting them both on.

nice ride man, quick questions: how long have you had the license plate on like that and have you gotten hasseled for it? Reason i ask is because i really, REALLY don't want to drill holes in my bumper but i can play off the "new car no plates" thing for so long...

 

i've had it on for a month or 2, no harassment yet... but i havnt been pulled over since i've had it on either. im sure if i got pulled over for speeding or something if the cop was really a ******** he could write me a ticket.

I would imagine that the cop would have to be in a really shitty mood to write a ticket for the plate... as long as you can see the numbers, it shouldn't be that big of a deal unless you are outside of the state... Maybe if you just brought it down and centered it that could be better, because then you could see your tabs and state... that might be even better. You can't even buy a car here in Alaska without the holes already drilled for the front plate, so it's strange that yours wasn't done yet.
