I got my cherry popped to autocross at Nopi Nationals last year in ATL. They had that Cobalt SS S/C drive out in one of the parking lots. I did not like the fact that you could not leave 2nd gear on the course or spin the tires.

I had a blast driving the course even though it was small, but I was complimented on how I drove the course and he asked how long I've autocrossed and I told him this was my first time he was like.

There is a road race course in GA close the Carolina's I would love to take the Cobalt too on a weekend getaway. ET on that is unknown.

Back when I was into Nissan this guy went to a road race in GA and posted about it. It is a actually road race no cones just a track. Wish I wrote down the name of it. Lemme go see if I can find something of it. But this was two years ago.

 

Nice....I remember my first day.....such a long time ago. And just to warn you guys about autoXing....its like the famous "mod bug"....once you start you will want more and more....until you get into more crazier things....like road racing.
