Recommendations for 3" Resonator

I am currently driving without a Resonator. I do not recommend it. Its LOUD!!! and doesnt sound good. But anyways. My resoantor's insides broke loose from the weld. I ordered a SLP resonator but its a straight through resonator and wont tone the sound any,

What Resonator do you suggest?

Thanks

Personally I would just take a bunch of Pringles cans and take them together. That's about 3" right? Hahaha... I actually wonder what that would sound like... hmm..

So even though its a stright through it will still tone the sound? What the purpose of a straight through resonator? Its just like a straight pipe right?

Here is a link to the Magnaflow resonator that is as close as possible to the one that comes w/ the Magnaflow cat-back system for the SS/SC:

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=506

This is from another member that called Magnaflow direct and asked them for the resonator used in the cat-back setup. I can find you the thread if you'd like.

Oops, just noticed that you said 3", here's a link to the same one as above but 3" instead of 2.5". Not sure if it would still work the same, but I bet it would.

So a resonator and a Muffler are pretty much the same thing. Because all these resonators say muffler as well.

Correct. At least as far as Magnaflow is concerned.
