This is a pretty nice video. At first you think the EVO is going to take the SS, but soon you hear the mighty LS1 screaming past it. Very nice.

LS1 is old and garbage, I'd take the EVO anyday over anything with a LS1, but it does sound pretty crazy

man... dont go say some dumbshit like that.. the motor is extremely good and tons of potential... chevy made that motor right... you can do one hell of alot more with LSx then with any evo motor..

 

The LS2 is an amazing peice, 400hp, and a flat 400tq curve and still gets 30mpg highway. However what you put it in makes a huge diffrence: put in in the light weight vette and a good drive can see low 12s, but put it in a SSR and not quite the same effect. The evos are neat cars, infact the only problem I have with them are the drivers who buy the car just to go and beat american cars... What happened to buying a car for the enjoyment?

It's my opinion, u have urs, I know most of you guys are domestic fanbois but stop humping the chevy symbol on the front of ur cars. I never said anything bad about the LS2, LS3 or LS7, just dont care for the LS1.

 

what do you thinks is different between the LS-x compared to the other besides litre displacement....


chevy humper? no... im a ford humper.. i always have hated f-bodies.. but im not gonna be a ******* and say because i hate the way the car looks/drives that they did not build the motor right.. ****... 6 bolt main... your just being ignorant b/c i know you have no idea on the specs/capabilities of the motor if you knew... **** man.. you can take a stock ls7.. slap on twins and see well north of 1k/1k hp/tq with fuel mods + tuning.. you show me a 4 banger that will do that

 

show me an ls7 running 1k/1k with just turbos, fuel, and tuning.
