oh my bad... cnc ported heads only to allow for maximum flow... i seriously doubt that gave them 500hp

think how much a NA ls7 makes.. 505.. what does 1 bar of boost do to a NA motor... ~approx doubles that.. so ~15lbs = 1k hp in a ls7... they are extremely beafy motors

I could care less about the specs man, I don't like tomatoes, do I have to know everything about them for me to have that opinion, NO. Do I need to know all the specs to say I dont like the LS1, NO. As stated above I respect the motor for what it can do, but I just dont like it.

Have to agree with you man 100% but everyone should know if a LS1 camaro is racing from a dig the LS1 is gunna rip some booty even though 1ftss on here has a cobalt that beat a Evo and LS1 he also has a camaro that is fast but that was a good race i expected the LS1 to do what it did can mess with American Muscle

This is my first post ever on this site so I hope no one hates or flames me too bad. Here goes anyway. I owned an Evo and they are bad ass cars. Not hating on the camaro but I handed plenty of SS's their ass easily from a dig and from a roll. All the guys had the same dopey look on their face asking themselves, "how could that rice rocket beat my great and powerful V8." The 4g63 from the Evo has evolved over many years and the Evo has been around forever (just not over here). Don't hate on something just because you don't understand or know anything about it. Oh, and for the record, dump some race gas in that bad boy and turn up the boost. That Evo couldn't have been running more than 20 pounds of boost. Camaro = not stock. Evo was close to stock minus the two step launch control which is just Ecu tuning. Just trying to educate here, not stir the pot. Honestly, I would love it if someone gave me an LS1. They have great potential!
