Nate's Pulleys
Nate's Pulleys
Well I just received my 2.85 pulley from Nate(nherbst) today and it looks amazing! It only took about 3 days to get it and for $55 shipped for a polished pulley you just can't beat it. Compared to the stage 2 pulley it is much lighter and can't wait to install it. I am going to wait to put it on at the track this Friday after I make a few runs to set a base stage 2 time for my car. Hope I can break into the 13's! I give a great big
for Nate and his superb pulleys
I got mine in the other day havn't installed it yet...how much is involved in installing a pulley I have the tool and all, just don't know how to do it really...sorry for the newb question.
It's best if you have someone holding the wrench and someone taking off the belt. Simple job as long as you loosen the bolts before you take the belt off.
For those that have stage 2 it is very easy! A 15mm wrench is needed for the tensioner, put it on the little finger on top of the tensioner, push it back towards the firewall, and then pull the belt off the S/C pulley! Just an FYI, loosen the bolts on the pulley first, then take off the belt, and then it's as easy as swapping them, and repeating the first step!
Good luck, hopefully your dealer didn't put any loc-tite on the bolts (mine didn't made it very easy) if they did, you will be in for a little more of a struggle!
I did it myself, and it wasn't that bad!

L.P.
Just becareful if they did put loc-tite on your bolts they strip like no one's business! So take it easy with them, unless you ordered new bolts from Nate, if you didn't just take your time not to strip them!

Yeah, it would be a good idea to keep them blue bolts for warranty purposes. You'll definitely want to put them back on when you take it to the dealership for warranty purposes.
