New Member.... Wats Up

I'm 15 years old and i just got done drivers ed and will be getting my permitt on august 13th, the day i turn 16. I lived in philly for 13 years then moved to Delaware. I first seen a commercial about the cobalt and fell in love with it. I googled around and came across this site. It's by far the best site i ever been to. What cobalt do u recomend. I can't drive stick but i want to learn.

Welcome to the site!

And yeah, stick isn't too bad. I learned on this car by driving to and from work. Good luck!

^^Yes, the 2.4 comes in manual as well as in automatic. The 2.0 only comes with a manual transmission.

Welcome. And yes, I would reccommend the 2.4 for you, but even a 2.2 can be fun.

welcome! and just because they wont be making the 2.0 supercharged cobalt by the time you have your licence doesn't mean you cant buy a used one. no 16 year old should own a new car anyway

I kind of have to agree on not getting a new car. I got my ss when I turned 16 and even though i treat it like its my child, people around you aren't as nice. Thats why my hood has 3 dents in it 4 scratches, my car was hit twice in the school parking lot, and I have mystery scratches all over my car. If you do get one watch out of other people and don't let them near it.

i gotta agree with these guys, im not saying you cant handle or respect a new car, but your peers wont be able to...seriously, i had crap cars all through HS for that reason..and just as i suspected..my crap ones got hit, keyed ect ect... getting a cobalt is a great idea..i just dont want to see ya get your stuff messed up

Yea i was planning on getting a Used one, I have a rich grandfather to help buy me one.

i have a question, Does the raised spoiler come on all models or just the ss. Like the one on the site banner. As long as i get a model with that spoiler then i'm happy.
