This is an great clutch. EXEDY only uses premium friction materials that are resistant to slippage and burst.

Increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle modified engines. This is the preferred clutch for street and track use. Driveability is similar to the stock clutch. Pedal efforts will be slightly higher because of the higher clamp loads. We highly recomend this clutch and we use it on our own cars. It holds 30-40% more torque over stock and they are very reliable.

Clutch should hold 450LBS or torque without a problem. HP numbers are dependent on torque. Could be all the way to 600whp, but around 500LBS of torque.

All the Grand AM Cup and Time attack guys use these!!

The whole assembly weights in at 26.155 lbs
The Flywheel weights in at 11.92 lbs
Disc at 3.08 lbs
Pressure plate at 10.87 lbs

it will support about 358 ft lbs tq to the wheels and 420 to the flywheel. Remember HP is different than tq.

I would say that if you are going to go 120 more tq to the wheels than the stage 1 will not do. The most that the Stage 1 would handle would be about 250 tq....but that would be pushing it.

Yes you can be more aggressive with this clutch. You are able to do massive clutch slips with out worries...it will hold out 420-450 foot lbs of tq.

this also should out last your stocker by about 4 times....

got mine installed Friday afternoon...and to be honest with u guys...it does feel stiff..much stiffer than stock,will be hard gettin used to accelaratin at 1500rpms instead of 1000rpm...pedel feel is hard thats all i gotta say,but hopefully down the road it will loosen up
