Well, the number came with the instructions for your kit. If you lost it, you need to find someone with HP Tuners who has a copy of the tune for you - and GM won't e able to flash your car if you have trouble in the future.
If you have the number, GM can do it for yah

I had a friend at the dealership install the stg 2 as a side job he did the reflash but my redline is still at 6500 and my CEL is saying that it's running RICH. And i lost the instructions with the VCI code. Im thinking that it may not be reflashed at all. Do you thing its bad to be driveing it?

It is a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. It normally comes on when your PCM throws a code.

You might be able to track it down from where you ordered the kit?? Probably gonna be a headache but worth a try?

Well sounds like your dealer is going to try and have a field day with this one. That is not good news that you lost your code. The best way is to find someone with the stage II tune in the HP tuners program. Tht is your best bet. To answer your question, do not drive it until its tuned correctly. You can expect nothing buy problems if you do drive it. Good luck.

Yea, if your freind installed it and hes a GM tech this could come in handy. Just make sure the dealership knows he installed it. Maybe have him come with and let them know the issue. There is no way to reflash it without the code the intructions came with. Only one other way is with HP tuners software. Good luck.
