Bushing press?? is this what i need?
I was browsing through the snap on catalog today and came across this:

Is this what i need in order to replace my control arm bushings and/or my tranny mounts? IM getting ready to begin modding and have decided that wheel hop must go, but i dont have a vice or press so i decided to look for one, is this what i need?

No you dont need that man.
I just did poly trans bushings yesterday, I put the mount on the concrete floor, placed the insert over the opening and kneeled on top of it and then went around the edge of the lip with a flathead screwdriver until all the edge was in the mount. Next I took a rubber mallet and a piece of wood, placed the wood overtop of the insert and smacked it a good 5 - 10 times as hard as I could until the insert was driven completely into the mount and flush on both sides (same amount sticking out).
That will do the trick, I guarantee it, takes 5 minutes using that method.

control arm bushings are a little harder to get in, i tried the bench vice method and snapped the end off of the vice. I ended up going to a machine shop and the guy did it for $5, popped out the old and put in the new. I'd suggest getting it done by someone else, i was told that the control arm can split if put in incorrectly (one auto shop turned me down because they didn't want to be liable).
