Anyone Putting Snow Tires on Their 2.2?

The Conti's that come on my base Cobalt don't get the best reviews for snow traction on
tirerack..

Anyone drive one of these last winter in the snow and if so, how was it?

Any other recommendations?

driving in the rain in florida is just like driving in the snow... so let me first say these tires drive like crap in good summer conditions... thay dont stick at launch and thay spinn in 2nd gear.... now driving it the rain is a joke you just tap the gas and your spinning and wheel hopping... you can floor it in 3rd and break the tire lose in the rain......

The Conti's I have on my base Cobalt do great in the snow. I have no complaints with them.

I'm looking at the Michelin X-Ice and will be putting 16" steelies on for the winter...I have a bad feeling the 16" rims from GM will corrode to all hell after a couple years of the salt they dump all over the streets here. I agree with Florida...the tires I have on right now lose traction in the rain...I'd hate to see the outcome in a heavy snow storm.
