spark plugs arent really something that will help you with performance, unless theres something wrong with your current plugs.
I run NGK coppers and I like them. the idle feels smoother, and the 1 step colder helps a little to avoid knock.

the GAP of the plug is what I personally think is important.
dont trust what they come at....and dont trust everyones opinion on what works.
spend some time with your car, try at least 4 different gap sizes to see what your car likes, in your area, with your mods.

and remember, you want the largest gap you can safely run without any misfires or sputtering.
only go smaller if you have to

BKR7E. I have run those since about 4000 miles and they are perfect. Just be sure to set the gap, factory is like .050, we need like .35-.40 for stage 2 or a smaller pulley.

They will be pre-gapped at about .050 inches. Get yourself one of those little spark plug gapper things they always have on the counter around the registers at auto parts stores. I got a bunch of them, they always tend to fall into my pocket while waiting to pay

I want to switch out my stock plugs because I've been running on them for over two years. Anyone here running on the NGK Laser Platinums?? Are they colder? Any issues(other than price... $12 )?? And where can I find these? I've only seen them online. Any chain stores carry these?

Advance Auto Parts carries NGK, I don't know if they have that model though if they are that expensive. Call one near you with a part # and check, they can tell you if it is carried in stock or special order.

ZEX for the win 82003-4's mopac on 16th has them. Some will say don't do it because of failure but I personally have only seen two cases of the plug fouling. I had mine in for 10000 km and when I replaced them the old ones still looked great so I kept them as spares just in case. These plugs seem to make the car more responsive throttle wise and the engine just seems to run smoother any whoooo.

Got em in a day. The assistant manager at the Advance lives by me too and he's been checking out my car. He's got a 06 STi. Anyway, next question is gapping. What's a good way to go about this??

Got one. I think I'm going to start at .040 and if I notice a bad difference, then I'll go with a smaller gap (.038, .036, etc.) until I'm comfortable.
